On 28 May 2004, at the annual China World Executive Summit held at Beijing International Hotel, Eagle Brand Holdings Ltd's CEO, Mr Jason Zhong, was one of the 100 recipients in China to receive the prestigious "Robert A. Mundell World Executive Award", and is also the only award winner from China's ceramic industry.

Established in honor of the 1999 Nobel Prize winner in Economic Sciences, Professor Robert A.Mundell, the "Robert A. Mundell World Executive Award" serves to give recognition to China's top 100 CEOs for their capability in managing a corporation and for the significant contributions they had made to ensure the success of their corporation. 

The winners were determined by a panel of judges made up of 100 financial news journalists, 50 trade associations, 30 economists, principals of China's top 20 business schools and Managing Directors of 10 renowned international business consultancy firms.

Professor Mundell was at the award ceremony to give out these awards personally and to offer his congratulations to all award recipients.
